Toe Yoga

How often do I do toe yoga?
Whenever you can. I’ve been teaching remotely, so I do these when I’m standing for long periods of time. This is an advantage of wearing barefoot shoes, you have enough space and the shoes are flexible for you to move your toes!
I also do them when I’m watching TV. I sit on the floor and practice. Many times, my toes won’t move the right way, so I do use my hands to guide my toes.
Why can’t my toes do these?
We are not used to moving our toes independently! We have spent years without using all the different muscles and joints in our feet. It took a lot of practice for me to be able to achieve this!
The most important thing is: Don’t give up! Even just a little movement helps our muscles become stronger!
